Thirty years ago a colleague told me about a communications training at work. I walked out a different observer. That one class reframed every conversation I had before it and every one I have had since.What changed wasn’t just how I communicated. It was that I got curious. About other people. About myself. About the gap between what I meant and what actually landed.Confidence followed. Not all at once, but it followed.I’ve spent 30 years since then studying how we show up, how we’re received, and what stands between us and being genuinely heard. That gap has a structure. Curiosity is how you find it. And once you can see it, everything changes.If you’ve always suspected you have more to offer than you’ve been able to show, you’re probably right.
